1969 Triumph TR6 $17000

This car has been rebuilt from bottom to top by the previous owner. There is no rust anywhere in this car, all parts that were questionable were replaced. The engine runs strong and well. It is a joy to drive. The car has the stock 2.5 litre inline six with a four speed gearbox. It is green with a black interior and beautiful condition roof. Also included are a matching boot cover, and a split tonneau cover that I rarely remove. The car is a head turner everywhere it goes.

Since I have owned it, I have installed an all stainless exhaust system, I rebuilt the twin Stromberg carburettors, I returned the headlamp switch to the steering column where it was originally, and I installed a wiring harness for the headlamps which will save the switch from burning out as it gives each headlamp its own relay, and only a small amount of power goes through the main switch. (this was one of the Lucas weaknesses of the day)

The car is complete, but disassembled (as seen in pictures). It will need a new windshield (2pc) and window seals.
We bought it about 26 years ago from my great aunt on Salt Spring Island - it was last on the road in 1967. I had started on the project, but fractured my spine in a workplace accident in 1998, and the project has been stalled since then. I know now I'll never do anything with it, so we'd like to sell it to someone who will. We are open to offers.
The car has been under a tarp for the last 13 years, and the removed parts either in my garage attic, or a lean-to shed. The front seats have been kept in the attic in our house.

Additional Series MM parts:
- extra rear axle
- cutaway 918 cc flathead engine (display model)

Manuals:
- factory BMC workshop manual
- Haynes workshop manual
- Autobooks workshop manual

Minor 1000 parts:
- trunk lid
- doors
- stainless window frames
- 1098 engine
- ported/planed 1275 head
- Weber 40DCOE manifold
- forged rocker arms
- plus lots of miscellaneous bits - I drove a '57 Minor 1000 throughout high school & university.

We'd like to sell this as a single lot; and as I said, we're open to offers. The front seats of the car have been sitting in our attic all these years while the rest of the car is various sheds around our yard. We would like to see it restored by someone who is interested in taking on the project.

Lots more pictures of all the parts and car available
