FOR SALE

1970 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 roadster for restoration

I have a 1970 matching numbers E-Type 4.2 OTS for sale to a Jaguar enthusiast willing to restore the car to its former glory. Notwithstanding that the picture has been taken outdoors, this car has never been stored outdoors but has been in dry storage for many years and still is in my heated garage awaiting attention. I have too many restoration projects to allow me to tackle this one. Very little rust on this E-Type – should be a very straightforward restoration. Most of the original parts are with or on the car. Bonnet is apart but complete and is in very nice condition. I have turned the engine by hand but have not had the car running as it needs a radiator and hoses hooked up prior to getting it ready to run. I have a fair number of excellent body panels some of which will likely be available with the car (I have to keep some for my other E-Type project).

I am asking $59,000 (CDN) for the car.

I can take more photos if someone has an interest or the car can be viewed in Cowichan Bay on appointment.
